.Stat Suite is a platform to Find, Understand and Use the data you need.
It consists of 3 main components, underpinned by the SDMx standard: .Stat Core, .Stat Data Explorer, .Stat Data Lifecycle Manager and its Excel Add-In. It features powerful APIs compliant with the Standard for Statistical Data and Metadata (SDMx, https://sdmx.org) and search-driven modern interface with user-friendly features.
Associated are tools to support SDMx-based data modelling as well capacity building resources (the .Stat Academy)

Key Achievements

Fully open-source since 2019, the .Stat Suite software is deployed or being deployed in over 50 statistical organisations.
Launched in 2023, the .Stat Academy allowed close more than 1500 learners from around the world to receive certified training in SDMx modelling and .Stat Suite technical know how.
The .Stat Suite solution and .Stat Academy are developed and maintained by the Statistical Information System Collaboration Community (SIS-CC, see https://siscc.org).
An example of .Stat Suite implementation is the OECD Data Explorer (https://data-explorer.oecd.org) featuring more than 1500 OECD datasets covering all domains of social and economic statistics, and including very large datasets (>1B observations).

(i) Hyper cloud-scalable, thanks to blazing fast performance for very large volumes (10B+
observation datasets) and full open-source stack, to allow for limitless scalability over the cloud.
(ii) SDMX+AI for data accessibility, with several variants envisaged (Data Explorer with natural
language search; conversational Data Explorer; Global Trusted Data Commons with StatGPT).
(iii) Next Generation SDMX (meta)data modelling, to bridge the gap between average data
practitioners and (meta)data modelling experts with the needed tools, governance, support and
knowledge.
(iv) SDMX calculation and orchestration, to support metadata-driven automations across the data
lifecycle.
