REDI is the Ecuadorian Researchers Network whose purpose is to provide information on authors, publications and areas of knowledge of IES that are members and non-members of CEDIA.

Mission

The mission of REDI is to store and disseminate the academic and scientific output of CEDIA's member institutions, promoting open access to knowledge to strengthen education and research in Ecuador. Through the distribution of digital resources, REDI fosters collaboration and information exchange among academics and professionals, contributing to the scientific and technological development of the country.

Key Achievements

Expansion of Digital Collections: REDI has successfully expanded its repository by integrating over 667,000 academic results, theses, and research publications from member institutions. This growth not only enriches the repository's content but also enhances its value as a comprehensive resource for scholars nationwide.
Deployment of Enhanced Platform Features: A major update to REDI's platform introduced advanced search capabilities, including semantic search and filter options, improving user experience.
Strengthening Collaborative Networks: REDI has established new partnerships with international research organizations and repositories. These collaborations have increased the global visibility of Ecuadorian research and facilitated cross-border academic exchanges, promoting wider adoption of REDI's resources.
