Mission

To build powerfully simple open access tools. Open Access promises equitable knowledge sharing, but we have a long journey ahead to realize it. To help us get there faster, we build tools that make doing open access equitably easier. We co-design with libraries, researchers, and educators — those at the forefront of shaping and sharing knowledge in the public interest.

Key Achievements

We're proud of the progress we're making with OA.Report, some notable recent milestones for us have included:
* Three of the top ten largest foundations in the world use OA.Report
* Creating nearly 50 custom OA.Reports for a wide variety of research funders
* We're rolling out categorization of data availability statements to all users

Funding Needs

We'd welcome additional funding for OA.Report to support:
* Developing more analyses to help organizations understand how open their research is, and what impact that has.
* Developing more actions to help organizations increase how much of their research is Open.
* Investment in "long term" solutions to the challenges OA.Report solves (e.g. supporting the adoption of Grant DOIs).
