DataLumos accepts deposits of public data resources from the community and recommendations of public data resources that ICPSR itself might add to DataLumos. The mission of DataLumos is to preserve valuable government data resources.

Key Achievements

DataLumos is a the primary data archive used by the Data Rescue Project. DataLumos has seen a drastic increase in usage in 2025 compared to 2017-2024. In 2025, over 1,500 projects were published in the repository.
